An Awesome Postcard

My photography professor from last year gave a lecture last night. She showed part of a new project she is working on, which was all inspired by an old postcard. When she read the message on the back, I could see why it grabbed her.

The postcard, mailed from Helena , Montana, on July 26, 1914, at 10 am, reads as follows: “I can not describe the Yellowstone, as the dictionary is only a book. It is more than scenery, and in some places it is so beautiful that the men take off their hats and the women are silent!”
